Hair & Makeup

I work with a few different freelance hair and makeup artists.

They are all excellent at what they do and bring a very positive, fun energy to the shoot.

I highly recommend makeup (even if you have flawless skin).

It has a huge effect on how the light reflects off your skin and really adds an incredible polish to the final image which can't be replicated with retouching.

If you'd like to add on hair and makeup then I'll contact the team to see who's available for your shoot.

If, however, you'd like to speak with them yourself first, you can find them on instagram here:

Hey, my name's Evan Nischan, but friends and family just call me Evan.

I have 3 main priorities when working with clients:

1.) The image.

At the end of the day, my main focus is, of course, to provide you with a top-notch headshot. I'm obsessed with creating images that are of the utmost quality. This is apparent not only in the top of the line camera and equipment that I use, but also in how I coach you throughout the session. The most important part of the image is YOU! My job isn't just to make you look good; it is to provide an environment that allows you to feel comfortable enough to be yourself and radiate your most confident, charismatic self. When you radiate your most authentic, positive energy, it beams out through your eyes and into the camera. In my opinion, great photos don't just "look" good, they have an energy that people can feel. I'm here to create images with you that will freeze your potential clients, casting agents, and fans in their tracks.

2.) The experience.

My goal is for you to not just get a jaw-dropping photo out of the shoot; I also strive to provide a fun, pleasant, unforgettable experience by maintaining a relaxed, positive atmosphere in the studio. Whether you are a business professional and had to be finished with the shoot 5 minutes ago, a scatter-brained creative who talks a mile a minute and could chat all day, or a very introverted, nervous wreck who is terrified of the camera, I will meet you where you're at. I know how it feels to be in all of those positions and consider it a strength of mine to be able to relate to just about anybody and create a comfortable rapport.

3.) The future.

You may have noticed the phrase, "Be the VIP" lurking around on this site. Well, let me explain that real quick. I'm a big believer in the law of attraction. They say that in order to become the person you dream of becoming, you need to embody the essence of that future you now. While we shoot, I'll advise you to act as if you already are the big C.E.O., the Oscar winner, the rockstar. No matter how green you may be, you won't leave with an image of you looking like you're a rookie - you're going to look like a seasoned pro. Your confidence will be palpable. By saying my third goal is "the future," I simply mean that my goal is for you to become the VIP:)
